On September 12th, we’ll be riding in the NYC Century Bike Tour. Why? Well, it’s for a good cause and we believe in supporting good causes. It benefits Transportation Alternatives, an advocate for biking, walking and public transit. Proceeds from the bike tour will help make streets safer for riding all year round.
Thanks to support from our fans, we now have 5 riders on our bike team. We’d love to have a total of 15 riders, so we’re still looking for 10 more. Anyone can join us. You don’t have to be from New York. Want to be next to join our team? Let us know.
Why should you ride with Team SocialWish? Besides the reason mentioned above, you will also:
Be part of America’s only fully urban century ride.
See amazing views of New York City from the best vantage point, your bike – the tour links NYC’s breathtaking bridges and beautiful parks to its incomparable neighborhoods and famous waterfronts.
Benefit your own health, getting great exercise in the wonderful outdoors.
Help support SocialWish by banding with us to make the world a better place.

SocialWish entered the “Create Your Opportunity” contest really late – contest ends today, June 14th, at 11:59 PM. I don’t know what we were thinking. I guess as optimists we thought we could make a good showing by turning to the power of social networking to get votes from our friends, business partners and social contacts.
SocialWish is counting on you, our fans and friends, for your vote, support and spreading the word.
Why vote for SocialWish.
SocialWish believes in social good and helping others help themselves by enabling anyone to create a social fundraiser. Help us further our cause and support the community at large by voting for SocialWish. Use the power of social networking to spread the word. Our goal is 1,000 votes in 24 hours.
What is SocialWish going to do with the funds?
SocialWish could really use the money to continue promoting the SocialWish mission. If SocialWish wins the $50,000 grand prize, SocialWish will donate $5,000 of the prize money to Make a Wish Foundation. Vote for SocialWish by clicking on this Link.
More details about the contest.
The contest as described in the about section, “Got a great idea? Let .CO help turn it into a reality! .CO is the new web address that offers people and companies more choice in branding their online presence with a truly global, recognizable and credible domain. Enter the “Create Your Opportunity ” contest for a chance to win your your ideal .CO domain and $50,000!”
